What packages are offered at Alta's Rustler Lodge? 

Friday/Saturday Weekend Buyout:

Am I required to have a Wedding Planner?

No, but we strongly recommend all of our couples to hire a professional wedding planner. The Rustler will have a wedding coordinator on the premises to assist with any venue questions and provide you with vendor recommendations.  A  detailed timeline and floor plan is required one week prior to the wedding.

How many guests can The Rustler Lodge accommodate?

Our venue can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests.  For sit-down dinners we will serve 140 guests and anything above will be buffet.

Do I have to schedule a tour or can I come in anytime to see the facility?

Please reach out if you are interested in touring the lodge and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule with a time that works best. 

What is your alcohol policy? Can we bring our own?

According to Utah State Liquor Laws, the lodge must purchase, provide, and serve all liquor, wine, and beer on our property.

Is there a noise ordinance for outdoor events in Alta? What time can my event go until?

The Alta noise ordinance is 11:00 pm for outdoor events. Closure of the indoor event is negotiable. 

Can we bring an outside caterer?

There will be no outside food brought on our premises. We will take care of all of the catering. Our chefs are willing to accommodate dietary preferences and provide a menu that meets your vision.

What clean-up am I responsible for?

We will clean our facilities' floors, tables, chairs, service areas, etc. You will be responsible for removable of all personal items brought to our lodge.
