Planning Your Drive to Alta

Little Cottonwood Canyon offers a scenic drive to some of the best skiing in North America, but winter conditions require preparation. The canyon occasionally closes for avalanche control, and Utah’s traction laws require 4WD/AWD vehicles or chains when in effect. Check current road conditions before you head up.
